Rikki_Sixx
There's some real zingers here, I very nearly pulled the trigger on a Harley Benton myself. The ones here look amazing (mostly ) This past weekend I picked up a gorgeous Epiphone 339 Pro in Pelham Blue, it's an absolute dream. Now I just need to learn to play properly!

I really like the 339’s proportions and the split coil facility is great (why Gibson don’t do this is just odd). I nearly bought one myself but went for the Casino Coupé instead, as I preferred the P90s. Jazz Club
I’m so pleased with the 6 and 12 string I decided to order the bass. UPS are delivering it on Monday.

Needed a fret dress as there were a couple of high frets up at the dusty end (they were a bit rough too) but the job they did at Guitar Guitar, Epsom was top notch - money well spent. The neck is quite chunky, but not uncomfortably so and makes it feel a bit more ‘solid’. What’s sauce for the goose, etc...

Does it stay in tune ? I would be scared of the bigsby coming away if I was playing it. Edited July 24, 2020 by Jazz Club

No stress on the top really, I guess it's mostly a lateral force. They've fitted Bigsbys to hollow body Gretsches since they came out, no issues there (other than the usual tuning malarkey).
Jazz Club
True but I think the Gretsches tops are designed to have them bolted on. They can still be real hard work to keep in tune. I wouldn’t let Neil Young loose on it. Edited July 24, 2020 by Jazz Club

It also just occurs to me that Epi do (or did) a Bigsby equipped one too https://www.andertons.co.uk/electric-guitars/epiphone-gary-clark-jr-blak-blu-casino-with-bigsby I wouldn’t let Neil Young loose on any guitar, or microphone if I had my way . YMMV.

Just reposted. I’m really not an Anderton’s fanboy, although I have bought a guitar there in the past. I’m a Guitar Guitar bloke, as they’re much nearer to me and I like the staff. I posted that link as it was the first one I found of the Gary Clark signature.
Kiwi
I bought a cheap, Chinese made archtop jazzer, but it's in dire need of fret crowning, the pickup isn't close enough to the strings and the finish has a number of hardened drips that need flatting out. Typical really, and I told them so. I have a 5 string bass on order from them too. It has a maple/mahogany through body neck and alder wings, with supposedly stacked humbucker pickups and a 3 band eq. It was ordered in April and was due in June...it keeps being delayed and delayed and delayed. I suspect it's because the fabricators keep screwing things up. They don't even measure string spacing from the bridge, they do it from the end of the fingerboard...where's the facepalm emoji?

Thomas Southern
Sadly I have been in the works to open up a store the last 2 1/2 years. COVID hits and people start selling gear cheap! I know vultures will be grabbing some items for when prices come back up. Yet I’m sitting on good brand new guitars that have never been played. I saw one that was similar to what I had and the guy was asking almost a grand less than I was wanting to sell mine. Yet my prices are cheaper than GC, many online companies. Granted his was used but in really good shape. Logically, if I was buying, I would go with his guitar. I was hoping to help folks out with them being able to buy new/mint gear and some good used gear that could help them cost wise. Again I was cheaper than most price wise but some of the prices I’ve been seeing, it is definitely a buyers market! As you’ve been setting up for a good while, hopefully you’ll be able to wait and ride out this, what should be, short sell off storm. You mention GC, do we assume that you’re US based?

Guitar companies and online stores/ shops have seen the highest demand and record sales ever since coronavirus started back in March.
