I started out with the Animal OD which is supposed to emulate a 68 plexi and was impressed. https://youtu.be/c7wvcoZozhg I was getting a load of ACDC and then other pedals started popping up in my feed. Like this Dumble clone they made called 'The Dude' lol https://youtu.be/2GTlcESBtxI Then came their version of a Fender Tweed https://youtu.be/1Rc3WmFoodo Check out Start Me up at 0.24 in. I thought this was full of Tweed flavour but I wasn't getting as much nuance as I was from the Marshall pedals. Finally...the HRM, Hot Rubber Monkey - supposedly an emulation of a tone circuit that Dumble put inside Marshall amps. There I was thinking he mainly worked on Fenders but anyway, I'm not sold on The Dumble Tone by any means. But this pedal sounds gloriously thick and spongy with a nice bite in the midrange. Sort of a Steely Dan thing going on there (edit: just found that Jay Greedon was a Dumble ODS user!) J Rockett Audio are a new one on me, but I don’t follow guitar pedals the way I once did, but the Dumble tone does it for me (spot the Robben Ford/Eric Johnson fan). I made a Zendrive clone which does a pretty good emulation of Mad Alex’s Fender style amps. These days, I’m into the tone of the Suhr Riot (spot the Dave Kilminster/Lari Basilio fan) but, as a bedroom guitar player these days, buying an actual Riot seems excessive - step up the Joyo USdream!
