So schmoo is basically a word that describes the clean tone that West Coast session guitarists like Landau, Thompson and Huff used to get.  It was characterised by crystal clean, shimmering sounds using a strat and parallel processing. 

 

 

 

The signal chain includes chorus with detuning afterwards and sometimes doubling.  Reverb and delay settings have been a bit of a mystery, if you have some to feel free to share below:
