I've recently begun going with 10 ga instead of 11's and 12's on acoustic. Never noticed neck being any longer than, say a Martin JC dreadnought I've had a few years but 3rd and 4th strings are too short, barely reaches posts. Never an issue with D'Aderio (that spelling doesn't look right) or the flat wound Magma strings before these. Are these strings for parlor guitars or something? Hate to waste so I cut length from old strings to add Xtra length and make them usable. They sound and play pretty good though. Bought 5 sets and don't look forward to rednecking it at every string change. Quote
