dewayne Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Favorite rolling Stones song is Emotional Rescue. Love the bass. Recently heard or read that Ron Wood is who actually played bass on that song. Is this true? If so, why?
upside downer Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Don't know the specifics about this tune, but Bill Wyman did miss out playing bass on quite a few Stones classics. Sympathy for the Devil, Jumpin' Jack Flash and Street Fighting Man had Keith on four string duty and Mick Taylor was the low ender on Tumbling Dice. Even Charlie missed out playing the drums on occasion.

dewayne Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 I have a six sided cigar box (not counting top and bottom) you can have. Would look pretty neat, especially with resonator style plate or banjo head stuck in there
