Lozz196 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 So, just got myself a Fender Mex Tele 72 Deluxe - 2 humbuckers, vol/tone for each, big 70s Strat style headstock. In a very fetching black/black/maple to match with my Precision & Jazz. First impressions are I love it, it’s a bit quirky, a Tele with 2 humbuckers and that big headstock. Also has a Strat style tummy-cut which is very nice in comparison to a regular Tele. Has a 12 inch radius board which is a new one for me, never played one of those before. It badly needs a new set of strings. And a new amp to play it through. Luckily the ‘bay has been there for me, so once all delivered I can be more objective on sounds but I think this is going to be ‘my’ guitar. I’m a Fender man through and through, I just play them better than Gibson’s, but prefer humbuckers to single coils. This Tele therefore is a meeting of both parts of what I prefer. Quote
ezbass Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Tele for the win for me all the time. However, we the people demand photographic evidence. Quote
