Always plugged in from front but read somewhere its better going in from the back (pause for stupidJoke) but the output (sound) was cut by 30% at least. Tried different configurations but result was sameOr worse. Any suggestions? I went back to input jacks up front Quote

The jack sockets at the rear are for inserting Fx such as reverbs, delays or flangers etc. They are not designed to send nor receive signals straight from an instrument (different impedance and output levels...).
