I've lived in the Colorado Rockies and the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. 

I've dealt with Bears, Deer, Squirrels, Coyotes, Pumas and recently Wolves.

They tend to go about their business and only pass thru.

But now I live in a medium sized city.

Ahhhh, rural TN, where on any given weeknight, when you have to be at work early, your dog(s) decides to tree a possum/coon/ housecat 50 yards from bedroom window around 1:45am. And if you're lucky, flashlight will go dead as you approach tree/creekbank.
