Takamine Sakura guitar 1970s

Trying to find out more about this instrument which I bought in 1972 from Ivor Mairants. 
I think it’s a Martin copy, but can’t find any info relating to its model or serial number 

Can anyone help to throw some light on this?

It still plays very well

I found this after a web search ...

 

I found my guitar's serial number by looking through the sound hole towards the fingerboard. The number is stamped on the neck block. Entering this number on this web site http://www.guitardating.com/takamine.php results in:
Date Your Takamine
The guitar was manufactured Sunday, December 14th, 1973. It was the 42nd guitar made that day.

 

Have a look through the sound hole on yours, maybe..? Hope this helps.

The serial number has only 5 digits, but label inside says “Sakura TF100S”

The cover on the truss rod end is  Takamine though

Any more ideas?.

Just like the “sold” one in the chipboard case.

Not sure just which Martin it’s a copy of ( or a real one in disguise??)

I recall it rather outshone a real one way back in 1972
