Stomp or Tonex

Hi New here ad just testing the water. Firstly I dont play live and only use my equipment in a home studio.

Now I have two effects/modellers that I use:

1) Line 6 HX Stomp XL

2) Ampero Hotone Stomp 2

I find being a seventy year old that I need simplicity in my life, yet I also demand versatility

I was contemplating getting a Tonex One and reluctantly selling the Ampero to replace it.

Heres my dillema, I currently use the Ampero in the fx loop of the line 6 and obtain

very good results, would I gain anything by replacing the ampero with a Tonex one. as yet

I havent heard a demo of the Tonex but the reviews/hype seem to give it a good recomendation.

Any help on this would be aprechiated, especially from anyone who uses a similar setup.

Simple..? Did you say 'simple'..? Hm. My idea of 'simple' (my next birthday I'll be 75...) is a lead from the guitar straight into the amp..! 

As for your dilemma, my suggestion would be to buy the Tonex One, and either send it back after trials if it doesn't meet your needs, or keep it for a while longer, then decide to either sell it , or sell the Ampero if it has become redundant. No video demos or 'hype' will really show what choice is best; only your own set-up and playing style will do that. Be aware of the trap, of course, of trialling the thing, only to decide to keep both..! Does this help..?

lol not really, I got a warning from Amazon for sending stuff back, but I might give it a go. I like to keep all my options open in my studio and yes I would probably keep both, and sell one after a couple of months, at a great loss. Thanks for your interest/concern

LOL last night I ordered a Tonex one pedal, to try. Also wrote to hotone with regards to "Tone Catch" they have just replied telling me that this will be added in the next update.....doh. So my new delema is, keep the Tonex , or wait for the Hotone update....will it ever end. Thanks for all your input.

The marketing strategy / campaigns, the artificial status that is perpetrated on all media.
