Cocksy
Hi guys I've just started to learn to play and bought myself a 2nd hand classical guitar, well I'm now wanting to upgrade to an accoustic but am struggling to find a cheapish wide neck guitar. The reason I'm wanting a wide neck is due to my fat fingers. Any recommendations please guys
Skinnyman
Try this link https://www.jazzyacousticguitar.com/wide-neck-acoustic-guitars/ I've heard very good things about Seagull but they may not be classed as "cheapish". Washburn do some nice entry level guitars and maybe easier to find and try out.
EdwardMarlowe
One option might be to try a 12 string. You could take off the high string set and play it as aregular six string, but with the wider neck a guitar made for 12 strings inevitably has. MWH
Now then, as a bass player my lovely Les Paul is almost useless to me, i have it tuned open D, use a slide, i have a custom build electric guitar with a wide neck now, the strings are on a 9mm spacing, (bass is 10mm), BUT, i got the idea from borrowing a huge dreadnought guitar which are made with that wider neck and spacing as standard as far as i know. its an arthritus issue for me, but getting a finger on each string sounds like the same issue. Maybe of some help ?
