suzukisan Posted October 16 Share Posted October 16 Hi everyone. Just joined the forum so hello from sunny south Oxfordshire (not!). My main instrument is the bass but have been playing around with guitars for as long as I've played bass, over 50 years!! I'm a bit of a collector and have a 2020 Precision bass, Hofner Club bass, Yamaha bass, acoustic no-name bass and a DeArmond Ashbory bass (this is a very short scale (just bigger than a ukelele) bass with silicon strings that amazingly sounds like a double bass!). I also have a number of guitars including a Fender Strat (Mexican), Crafter electro-acoustic 6 string, Peavey very sparkley semi, an acoustic 12-string, a couple of spanish 6-strings including one made by Jose Penades, and a Watkins Rapier 33 from 1960-61. I am just starting to refurb the Watkins so will be checking out the repair and refurb section of the forum for info on that - it's a long time since I rewired a guitar.
