My main instrument is the bass but have been playing around with guitars for as long as I've played bass, over 50 years!! I'm a bit of a collector and have a 2020 Precision bass, Hofner Club bass, Yamaha bass, acoustic no-name bass and a DeArmond Ashbory bass (this is a very short scale (just bigger than a ukelele) bass with silicon strings that amazingly sounds like a double bass!). I also have a number of guitars including a Fender Strat (Mexican), Crafter electro-acoustic 6 string, Peavey very sparkley semi, an acoustic 12-string, a couple of spanish 6-strings including one made by Jose Penades, and a Watkins Rapier 33 from 1960-61. I am just starting to refurb the Watkins so will be checking out the repair and refurb section of the forum for info on that - it's a long time since I rewired a guitar.
