JoelS96
Currently looking for an amp to get a nice tone in small venues and rehearsals playing mainly 90s britpop. wondering if any has experience with this amps and knows whether it’s powerful enough for this / a good option. cheers
EliasMooseblaster
My experience of Vox amps is that they're bloody loud for their rated wattage, so I imagine it would have enough juice for small gigs and rehearsals! I had a Pathfinder 15R for a few years, and the few gigs I did with it, I certainly wasn't struggling to be heard. Afraid I can't comment on the ins and outs of the model you've got in mind, but I think as long as you like their "baked-in" tone, Vox are a pretty safe bet. EdwardMarlowe
I doubt it'll have the earbleed volume that an AC30 can produce, but if it's close to all the other Vox Hybrids I've experienced, it'll likely be fine for smaller gigs, and easily pa'ed for bigger venues, as long as you can hear yotrself over a drummer.
