JosephGriffiths Posted August 3 Share Posted August 3 Custom made Gartone Bluesmaster 80 watts tweed twin amp (with a pair of Celestion G12 Alnico Gold speakers) for me back in 2016. Amazing powerful clean sound that takes pedals incredibly well. Custom unique cream colour instead of the usual tweed that you see for these amps. Couple of little bits of wear and tear at the bottom of the amp (see pictures) after 8 years. After 8/9 years with the amp, gigging with it hundreds of times, I have used it less and less because of my switch to more convenient digital modelling gear instead of traditional amps. It's the only reason why I'm selling it as I have recently just got a great FRFR speaker for my modeller. So it's a practical choice that I had to make and I'm sad to see it go because the sound is unbelievable and I would rather it go to somebody who would use it more than I am currently. Has been serviced once or twice by Martin Gartone since owning it. The tubes have been replaced in that time too. The tubes are still working well at the moment but as with any valve amp, it will need to be something to be aware of and replaced in the future. Collection only as I wouldn't trust delivering this through the post office, so please factor this in before buying. Also, just to note that the presence control has always, since the beginning, had this slight quirk where if you turn it it has a slight "swooshing" sound. It doesn't affect the sound of the amp in any way, just only when you turn thag specific control. But apart from these couple of minor things, it's in excellent condition.
