Pbassred
My new Tele is in the mail. First order of business is to oil the neck. Now, this is Indian laurel rather than Rosewood. I was just trawling through youtube and a music store channel was suggesting slightly tinted wax. Firstly: wax? Second: tinted? Now I like the idea of tint since I prefer the reddish tint of rosewood to the grew brown of Laural if it works, but is that an accepted thing? We are probably into French Polishing territory here but I thought I would ask.
Crusoe
I just use Jim Dunlop lemon oil on my fretboards. They darken naturally over time, anyway.
