I switched to bass early on although I still played 6 string mostly as a writing tool. However, my last performance on guitar was in 2009, with bass lasting another 5 years. I have been mostly playing percussion. A couple of months ago I picked up my old acoustic that I "lent" to my son and found that I had forgotten loads.
