MrWalker Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 (edited) There is this quite nice guitar from a pawn shop in the US that claims to be an Ibanez Adam Nitti Signtaure Premium... which is obviously not the case, since it's not a bass at all, and not an Ibanez, either. Does anyone know what this is? Have been unable to find out. I'm pretty good at identifying basses (I'm a bass player mainly), but not quite as proefficient on tracking down strange guitars. https://www.ebay.com/itm/195466668856?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D1cd65f5c9dee4ac489687c920c41f2b0%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D195466668856%26itm%3D195466668856%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26brand%3DIbanez&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Abbc4544b-748d-11ed-ac0b-a6c611258531|parentrq%3Ae1fcef091840a9bff8924e6afff9ada0|iid%3A1 Anyone recognize this? ezbass Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Nope, a new one me. Looks nice though, not that that means anything in term of quality. Quote
MrWalker Posted December 5, 2022 Author Posted December 5, 2022 True, but I agree, it looks well built and there's a lot of attention to details. Does look to be a guitar built by someone with serious skills and not like something out of a cheap knockoff factory. Logo looks hand drawn, could be an M... But i haven't figured out what it is. Crusoe Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 I have seen that logo before, but, for the life of me, can't remember where. Quote
velvetkevorkian Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Did someone wash their PRS on too high a temparature? The wooden knobs and pickup covers, chunky looking backplate and freehand logo suggests a small independent builder to me -- I had thought Mayones but the logo's not right. Quote

I was thinking about Manne also, but it's not. I've found some that has a similar shape but not found a match. I think the beveled edge is also quite distinctive It's a good lesson for builders to learn... Put your full name on the instrument somewhere. People might like your work but if they aren't able to find out who made it, you're not gonna earn any money Quote
