Hi all,

 

I've just signed up here and looking forward to contributing to this forum. I've been playing electric guitar on and off for a few years, also play keyboards too, just a bedroom hack, nothing serious.

I'm based in Essex, UK and can't believe I missed this forum lol, looks very cool.

Maybe a kick-start is all that's needed..? An incentive, such as a monthly 'challenge' to see who can compose a piece, inspired, maybe, by a picture or photo, with a vote at end of month..? The compo that gets the most votes from Forum members gets to choose the pic for the next Challenge, perhaps..? B|

I find it bizarre that some peoples videos have thousands of views but only 5 comments. So won’t hold my breath for anyone bothering to rate it!
Normal for YouTube I’d say, but not on a dedicated guitar forum it’s weird nobody responds.

I like your idea however, Id love that, i have a WhatsApp group among friends where we do like “half hr challenge” it’ll be something simple like the intro to bombtrack for example, or the 3rd solo in I believe in a thing called love, it’s great fun.

Not my idea at all; it's been ongoing over there on Basschat for about ten years or so..! We don't do videos, though, just Soundcloud audio. A modest clique of regulars, but it keeps on going, so it must be doing something right. B|

don’t take it the wrong way but if I’m being sent notifications after joining 11hrs ago and making 11posts saying I’m in the top 10% of all members I’m gonna get real bored real quick 👎🏼
