I've always just picked up guitars inherited from others. Aside from online only (have no idea why I would go and buy a gutiar I've never played before..) where in UK would be a safe bet to find something ? I live in scotland but would travel to London. T-Bay Posted February 12, 2022 Share Posted February 12, 2022 I have an Ultra Jazz bass and the quality is superb, a level above anything they have done before. That said, I am also on the lookout for a nice Tele and have settled on finding an Elite. They can be found second hand for round £1000-1400 and come in a nice colour range. I have played a couple and they were superb (sadly owned by friends who don’t wish to part with them). They seem to come up for sale in the usual places reasonably regularly.
