There is an old ‘ what have you got?’ type threads, but not an actual all your guitars together. Therefore, in an effort to get some more traffic through the GC doors, post your ‘family portraits’ here. Here’s mine…

It'll take a while, and I doubt that I could get a wide enough angle to get them all in one shot, anyway. If I'm allowed regular pics, one by one, I'll see what I can do, but they're mostly stored up in my 'den', where it's cold, and I've little energy for climbing those stairs. Patience (but, be warned: they're not top-flight 'boutique' guitars, anyway..!). B|

Here's two that I have 'to hand'...

Xavier XV610, bought for little money from the US, and a delight to play. Split-coil 'chimie' humbuckers, a bit 'Ricky-ish'. It's my second; the first, similar but bright yellow, went to our singer, as he 'clicked' with it...

... and my 'go to' acoustic, on the wall behind my armchair, is a Takamine G220NS, acquired s/h from a buddy of Our Eldest. No electronics, just a simple, honest-to-goodness nice acoustic...

More later, as and when I'm inspired (and that the camera and flash are fully charged up...).

Here is my extended family.....   A few Gibsons, Bravewoods, Fender and Iveson.   The Iveson guitars really are a treat, fabulous!!!

Which size is the Supro amp second from right on the shelf there? I'm seriously considering the 1 watt model once I've sold a bunch of stuff....

Hi Edward it is Supro 1822R Delta King 12 15 Watt 1x12.   Fabulous amp though redundant I tend to use the Milkman and Swart.    Saving up to get a Lazy J.

Here's an old picture of my (then) Gibson collection

From Left to right

'79 LP Deluxe, Early Studio with ebony board (belongs to my wife), 2010 Slash AFD LP, Faded Flying V 2004, '67 SG jr, '59 LP jr, Custom shop Flying V Custom and my R7 from  about 2002.

Sold the faded V on ebay to fund a new PA system, the '59 JR was sold to my brother and the Custom Shop V is now with Ben Grenfeld (ex wishbone ash)

This guitar is an R8. It has been made to look like Marc Bolan's famous Les Paul, before any of the neck changes. This belongs to my brother. It was his 50th birthday present from his wife.

I bought the guitar as a standard R8 then did all the mods on it, including Slash seymour duncans.
