Was learning of a tab but looked up a few lessons on YouTube and noticed no one teaches it the way I play it, all play if with 3 fingers. Edited October 13, 2020 by Variable

It is possible to use your pinky for the high G (1st string 15th fret) though. Long story to shreds, do whatever feels most comfortable to you. If you can make it sound like it's supposed to, then it's job done. 1
EdwardMarlowe Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 I have always worked on the basis of avoiding prescriptive fingering, and used whatever works... the most important point, surely, is how it sounds.... (unless, of course, you're in a tribute band and a particular physical movement is highly characteristic of the player you're performing as).
