Noisyjon
Hello GC'ers, Now withdrawn. 1979 Gibson The Paul. It's made from Walnut with an Ebony fingerboard. It's well used and gigged which the dings, bangs, scrapes and knocks show – A natural relic I like to think! The only non-original parts are the black Schaller strap lock buttons and it comes in an old, but fully working, SKB hard case (no key for the lock however). That said the back of the neck and electronics are all in very good condition and it plays great. For completeness it was re-fretted at Chandler Guitars in Kew many years ago and plays like a dream as a result. joe edge 2
I had one of these, the guys in the band were disappointed it didn't look like a Les Paul but it was a fantastic guitar. So much better than the 93 studio I replaced it with. Wish I had £850 to spare.
