Hi, I have been playing guitar for about 2.5 years. But no matter how hard I try, I can't master the bass strings of the guitar. Is there a special exercise for me to master the bass strings? regards, Saeed

Hello, dear guitarists, I ask for help in conducting a marketing research on the formation of an assortment of guitars. This is the topic of my coursework at the institute. You need to answer the questions in the survey. Thanks in advance to all who answer. Here is the link to the survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1X1dzUbmEwoID78wP6EowQmd-xaj5xx4WeE8cxNIEPpM/edit

Hi there! I think that movement of the right hand is finally crazy, (I mean jerking the thumb, it shouldn’t move like that, at least I haven’t seen it anywhere). Or are such movements ok ? My thumb moves very freely during the playing, I have never seen it played like that. I tried to fix my playing and play only with my wrist , but songs where different strings are involved, I finally can’t. Accuracy is lost in that way. I have some kind of mixture of my wrist and fingers playing, I don’t even know how to fix it and whether it needs to be fixed at all. If i play some fast stuff from string to string, then I already use the wrist there, not my fingers. But songs where the spread between the strings etc., it does not work. Is it normal to play like this? I need your opinion on this, thanks VID_20230408_141915_918.mp4

Seeing I now have the services of an Axe FX 3 for the foreseeable, I no longer have need for these. I just can't see the need for both for home use, otherwise I would keep it as they are superb. Both are in Mint condition. Me being the original owner, having only used it in a rack in a non smoking home. All cables are included as are the original boxes, which are also in mint condition . The discount on Helix Native software is also unclaimed, so that would save you good bit. Fully upgraded to 3.15 firmware, with 3.20 just around the corner. I have good feedback both on here, and ebay under my user name 2pods Definitely selling now. I'm thinking about maybe trading these, or accepting near offers. Would like fixed bridge PRS SE with money my way, or Telecaster same depending on value I would prefer pickup, but as I'm up here, postage could be an option if the buyer arranges it. The gear would be 2 parcels in their original "inner" and shipping boxes.

Hello! I have Schecter Omen 6 Diamond series and want to sell it. One guy offered his guitar in exchange. It is BC Rich Mockingbird with active humbuckers Seymour Duncan, 105 I think. He said that the model is STQ Hardtail 2012. But it does not have the coil switches of the STQ models. I need help with finding the exact model of this guitar. Thanks in advance

I am a guitar player of 2 years. I have used the same Yamaha F310 throughout. It is an acoustic guitar. Today, my low E string randomly ‘popped’ and unwinded itself near the bridge pin... more accurately it almost stretched itself out. The change in tension made the string completely loose. When i decided to restring it, i noticed the tuner felt loose, and took some labour to turn. It slipped a few times before getting into tune. After noodling for a bit, i went for a full bend on my B string and it dropped 2 whole tones in tune. This continued on the same string. Is my guitar broken?? It could be placebo but the action felt a bit funny after i restringed too. For context, i am a very ambitious player. I play percussive fingerstyle guitar, and i bend excessively. I do all my bends on the B string generally. I am in need of urgent advice as i practice non stop and do not want to take a break from my passion. All support is very appreciated.

Couple questions... (and thanks in advance to whoever answers!) 1. what's a neck and a fingerboard? And which has more of an impact on tone? 2. body and fingerboard wood; which has more of an impact on tone? 3. difference between HSS & SSS? (tone wise, of a fender strat) 4. does finish impact tone as well? (gloss, gloss polyurethane, and satin finishes) You don't have to know all the answers, but if you know some I would appreciate it!

My G string (lmaoo) on my Epiphone Wildkat is higher than the rest. I tried lowering the bridge and it didn’t work. Any idea on how to fix it?

Good day. I hope somebody will be able to assist me. So I have a Epiphone Les Paul Standard and the neck broke beginning of the year with the guitar still working 100%. It was in the hardcase for the time so I decided instead of fixing the neck to buy a new body and neck as a DIY project and just install the hardware and electrical parts in the new body. I removed the pickups by cutting the wire in the middle of each pickup and removed all the wires and control knobs without disconnecting any other wires from where it was soldered. So basically the only wires that I had to reconnect was the two pick up wires. So I installed everything in the new body with the earth at the correct place and joined the pickup wires precisely as I removed them. After all this I plugged it in and nothing. Not even a sound or noise. I removed the pick ups again to male sure that there is no short circuit but could not find anything. What can be a common problem? I want to see if I can fix it myself before taking to a guitar shop. Thanks

I currently own a Dean 8 string. I always wanted a Schecter 8 though. Ive never had any issues with my 8 string. I just don't see Deans very often so wasnt sure what people thought of them. What do you guys think of Dean 8 strings and which company has good 8 strings? I'm trying to decide between an Ibanez or schecter, but am interested in other brands as well.

Hello everyone, Recently, I've been playing some bigger stages and getting sick of the cable between my FX and my amp getting under my feet. I've tried a really long cable to go around the edges, but it sucked some of the tone (despite being a really high-quality cable) and is a real pain to maintain. I spotted the TC Electronic Teleport system - two boxes that supposedly transmit hi-quality signals between fx and amps for not much more in price than a high-end cable - and thought they might be the solution. Does anyone have any experience with them? Regards, Rich

Sometimes you need a sad song on guitar, even if you're yourself a guitarist , when you are felling blue. This music is a soundtrack from "Beethoven Virus" Korean movie. I just arranged it for the 10 string guitar and recorded it live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83pozAE5-YM The recorder I use is ZOOM H6, camera - Nikon D3500. It may just be a ratty old Eko from a jumble sale or a cosseted James Olsen original but this is the place to show off your guitar collection... I've got a couple of electrics, a couple of acoustics and some other bits and bobs... here they are. Now time to share yours!
