  1. Does Wal-Mart deliver that?

If you had to play an entire set with 3 strings missing, which 3 strings. I think I'd go without 1,2 & 6. You have to play your normal tuning

You have your go to guitar/amp combo. If you could have only 1 more piece of equipment what would it be?
  4. Ahhhh, rural TN, where on any given weeknight, when you have to be at work early, your dog(s) decides to tree a possum/coon/ housecat 50 yards from bedroom window around 1:45am. And if you're lucky, flashlight will go dead as you approach tree/creekbank.
  5. If you run into Adam Corolla, tell him he can stay with me while guvnah newsome is planning Cali 2.0

Those Lazer (I think) headless played by Johnny winter. Come to think of it other than being a nice piece of lumber, reverse firebird's weren't that great looking either.
  9. I have a six sided cigar box (not counting top and bottom) you can have. Would look pretty neat, especially with resonator style plate or banjo head stuck in there
  10. Love the scissor jack stance. Ticket price to see Floyd would have been comparable to Beatles tickets I imagine. I did get to see Clapton in the 90's. I think that's the only European act I believe I've seen. Nope ac/d was first.
  11. Chitlins. Chitlins that also began to sing "don't eat the yellow snow" and " ya yo gak" until......

Ok, in your opinion, what is the ugliest guitar ever mass produced? My ugliest guitar vote would go to a Gibson "60's firebird. It is the equivalent of my 1983 jeep J-10. Gatemouth Brown's is the only one I've seen...and I'm only referring to looks. I love my jeep and at least it's not International
  13. Was wondering how so many copycat guitars have suddenly seemed to explode onto the market. Is it because of China and/or readily available Internet and/or delivery options. Some of these look pretty amazing. I regularly see them advertising as "Les Paul's", *explorers" mostly copying Gibson, Ibanez gems or b c. Rich it seems. Is this legal?
  14. It was pink Floyd and I was focusing most of my attention on the bass player. Of course having killer songs didn't hurt
  15. The priest discovered a Kerry king b.c. rich beaconing him and explained that he'd learned half of George thorogood's licks.
  16. Does anyone have a copy of pink Floyd pulse when they released it on VHS. Mine was borrowed never saw it again but the bass player was fantastic. Later got a DVD of pulse but it had a different bass player. The guy liked to stand with back of his heels together and squat up and down keeping time. It would have looked funny if his playing wasn't so mesmerizing.....and TONE. It matched that of gilmours guitar, not an easy task.
  17. I was gonna ask if gilmour played bass on any songs. The waters stuff I like might actually be David then
  18. There are 8 chords?!?
  19. I'm in Tennessee, never been to London but I can annoy you with other observations if you like.,...............oh, and Hello!
  20. Hello from me
  21. A priest, frank Zappa's ghost and the giant pink Floyd pig walk, or float, into a music store to buy a guitar on Valentine's Day..........
  22. Ouch! Damn thorns! Must have been a sharp.
  23. I've never studied music other than deciphering what Robert fripp is describing when talking music during interviews and wondering is it frowned upon to say for example D# instead of Eb or G# over Ab.
  24. I haven't played one but an acoustic tenor would have been very handy after my neck surgeries. Playing one while on my back, slightly inclined would have been more convenient than a full size guitar. After recovery I bought 2 ukuleles and tuned them open A (ish) and played them after hip replacement. About to have hip replacement on other and have a tenor banjolele usually tuned to open B flat (or A sharp) don't know which to say, ready to go. I would love to get a tenor gtr one day.
  25. I'm a to lefty who began playing 5 string banjo righty because the person who taught me to tune was holding it that way. Never occurred to me to flip it. It was difficult to pick at first but control of fretting hand was worth it. Probably why I have odd percussive timing on rhythm. That and the Doobie brothers. Trying to keep up with left hand was frustrating at times My cousin who is lefty doesn't play but as kids he would hold guitar or banjo flat in his lap (Jeff Healy style) because that felt natural.
