  1. Does an Epi Les Paul GoldTop count? Early 90's?
  2. France is in Europe?,........ Hmmph. And Europe is where? I'd figured they had disbanded by now.
  3. Sorry had to leave. Didnt know where to sign out. Great scenery out there. Only seen it on film. Best friend's grandfather got shot on one of Normady beaches, with U.S. Marines. Back to your road, we dont have alot of sand in TN unless you go up into the mountains nearby. Not sureWhy theres sand there though.
  4. Jeff Beck for keeping it fresh when playing live. Brian Setzer for the licks and TONE and making me realize I'll never be able to play like that. So I have now played slide for almost 20 yrs.
  5. Is that road sand? Even with the fog the countryside looks like something my dad would want to paint. Nice
  6. Back in the day, who would win a kickboxing competition between jeff healy and joe cocker?
  7. Havent read replies so may be repeating someones comment. Mabe Tony Iomni patented something for the fingers and he used drop D tuning. Try open tunings like open G. I play bottleneck style slide in different tunings and do my own stuff but I've played everything from albert collins to megadeth with my emphasis on rhythm. It doesnt sound like slide unless I want it to. I also began playing ukulele that i use banjo tunings on and get mandolin sounds on.
  8. Hear Hear to Suzanne Collins
  9. nice amp. Had for a few years. Always plugged in from front but read somewhere its better going in from the back (pause for stupidJoke) but the output (sound) was cut by 30% at least. Tried different configurations but result was sameOr worse. Any suggestions? I went back to input jacks up front
  10. Sounds like you like playing lead. If you like Skynard, "I know a little" may be fun for you. steve gaines if i remember correctly
