Hello everyone, I have a budget of £150-200 and I was just wondering if there is a good marshall amp available for a beginner who is looking for a guns n roses type sound. Thanks

Does anyone have experience with this guitar interface? Is it a useful piece of kit? I've done some background reading and it seems like it can unlock some useful sound effects when linked to apps on ipads etc.

Thank you all for the comments. Plenty of useful advice. I definitely need to get in the habit of cleaning my guitar regularly. Think I will also give FastFret a go as well, see what happens.

When I slide my fingers up and down fret board, it produces a squeaky sound. I am trying to improve my technique so I lift off more before I slide, but I was wondering if dirty strings might contribute. Do the strings get coated in dust and grease from your fingers after a while and need cleaning? Any recommended products for cleaning, is there any everyday household products that can used or is it specialist stuff?

Good Evening, I've been wanting to play guitar for many years and during Covid lockdown this year I decided to give it a go (Aged 33 hopefully not too late). I bought myself an epiphone les paul player pack. Chose les paul because I am a huge guns n roses fan and love the guitar shape. So far progress seems good, learning plenty and making my way through some good basic songs/riffs etc. I can't help but think the amp I have is a bit rubbish though. Its a 10 watt epiphone amp that came with the kit. Just thought I'd make a post and get some more experienced advice perhaps. Thanks in advance.
