Hi, i am looking to buy a semi hollow or hollow electric guitar. I need a guitar that has low action as i have osteoarthritis & cant put too much pressure on the fret. Please could you advise brand guitar to look at. Thanks Ness

In Love! i bought a guitar for something other than the internet and basically applied something i had read about an it was the best thing I ever purchased i mean composed riffs after a few practices,I love guitar call me jim!

Hi fellow musicians. I've been playing the guitar for over 40 years. I taught myself to play. I have been in a couple of bands gigging. I am rhythm but have picked up a lot of lead from Gary Moore tracks, by ear. My first guitar was a 1986 Fender Telecaster. I paid 199 quid for it. As the years have gone by, and as you do, I have collected a couple of Epiphones, couple of Fender Strats and an Ibanez and Fender acoustics. I do have a question around octave pedals. I have bought three so far and they all drop down an octave. What pedal takes you up an octave? I play the light E string 12th fret but Gary plays on the G string which is normally an octave lower. It does make a difference to the sound of the note.

Self discipline. That's what's required. Don't need a Princeton. The Super Champ is great and with my soon to arrive Fender Santa Ana Overdrive I'll be in a sweet spot. But a Berg 212 and a Genz Shuttle (over on the dark side)... Maybe time to get back gigging.

Hi. As an ancient guitar nerd in lockdown......as are many of us...... thought it time to do some maintenance on my guitars. You may note from my profile picture that I'm a bass player, although, now days spend more time spreading my lack of talent to the 6 string lead instrument. I write and record (for fun) mostly instrumental ditties and I have a terrible singing voice. All good fun. H
