"Maa on niin kaunis", "Schönster Herr Jesu", is one of the most popular hymns in Finland that has often been sung at Christmas time. The melody comes from a collection of Silesian folk songs published in 1842. I made two versions of it. First one is kind of a practice for conterpoint and second one is the basic melody+harmony. I will show the later one in close on the video.
