Hi All, Patrick from Up North. Been with Basschat for years. Been getting more into guitar, still finding my way with those 2 extra stings. A few of my toys. In the process of rehashing my board having just got the G3 Atom and Chase Bliss Preamp, any help or suggestions welcomed.

Here is my extended family..... A few Gibsons, Bravewoods, Fender and Iveson. The Iveson guitars really are a treat, fabulous!!!

I have a KMA reverb/ delay that is amazing. Very sensible money for what you get as well.

It'll take a while, and I doubt that I could get a wide enough angle to get them all in one shot, anyway. If I'm allowed regular pics, one by one, I'll see what I can do, but they're mostly stored up in my 'den', where it's cold, and I've little energy for climbing those stairs. Patience (but, be warned: they're not top-flight 'boutique' guitars, anyway..!). Here's two that I have 'to hand'... Xavier XV610, bought for little money from the US, and a delight to play. Split-coil 'chimie' humbuckers, a bit 'Ricky-ish'. It's my second; the first, similar but bright yellow, went to our singer, as he 'clicked' with it... ... and my 'go to' acoustic, on the wall behind my armchair, is a Takamine G220NS, acquired s/h from a buddy of Our Eldest. No electronics, just a simple, honest-to-goodness nice acoustic... More later, as and when I'm inspired (and that the camera and flash are fully charged up...).

i've had my eye on those Mooer preamps for a while, I have a saved search on ebay for cheap pedals so i might end up with one at some point. one recent purchase that might appeal to the OP is the palmer Pocket amp, it only has a few simulations but they're pretty good, i picked one up cheap and am using it as a preamp into my recording interface for practice/ noodling, Might be worth a look as they come up fairly often on ebay and often sell cheaply. (about 75 quid new) https://www.palmer-germany.com/en/products/guitar-effects/5141/pocket-amp-mk-2 Matt EDIT - as a bonus they have a decent DI output as well so one less thing to plug in, the only minor gripe is that it's not Phantom powered!

I would love to have seen Rory Gallagher talking to Keef about music. Both incredibly knowledgeable, and with such a genuine love of the whole thing. You know Gallagher was offered the lead spot in the Stones in January 75 after Mick Taylor walked out?
