  3. What Ez said… The more I play it, the more I fall in love with that neck. I have another PRS (the Hollowbody) which has a regular rosewood fingerboard and a slightly different scale length and that’s also very nice but the roasted maple on the 24 is just fantastic. I don’t know if all Custom 24s are the same or if it’s a characteristic of the roasted maple, but whatever it is, it’s lovely. Just a shame about the puke-bowl colour but even that’s growing on me

  4. When I was doing the PA, then the Lights, for Kiemsa or other outfits, I wore a blue boiler suit. Very practical, until I out-paunched it.

  7. No it’s been oiled to seal it but I cut a new pickguard that I haven’t really relict it as much I've managed to do a bit more on them I can’t decide if I prefer the tele with a pickguard or not?

  10. OK - here's one of my recent lightweight builds. Built for my sister-in-law at 25" scale length and 5lbs 3oz total weight. Amboyna top, oak back (from her late mother's mantlepiece), maple/purpleheart/mahogany neck :
