If you like gigging, the next time you feel nervous about it, tell yourself 'I'm not nervous, I'm excited!' and smile while you're saying it. "even a fake smile — can have a positive impact on mood. Essentially, triggering certain facial muscles by smiling can "trick" your brain into thinking you're happy". Psychology innit!
