The "Single Malt" sound? It'd be interesting to experiment with for sure. Personally, I'd always planned that if I made it as a rock star I'd have a mystery pedal labelled "The Diagonal Steam Trap" which I'd stand on every so often. It would, by design, do *nothing*, but the aim would be to see if I could create demand for one or con people into thinking it was part of my sound.1 point

Everyone learns differently. However, if this were me, I’d be dreadfully confused by the introduction of an instrument with less strings and a different tuning so early on in my learning journey. Your experience may be different, but I’d avoid the uke.1 point
