  1. I'm 72 hiding in my house from the plague and bored to tears so I'm always looking for a place to hang out and chat with other musicians. I've been playing for 50+ years with some nice gear and no where to use it so here I am looking forward to it. Thanks for having me.

  3. I'd suggest starting off with the more affordable stuff, then building on that as and when specific needs arise. Going 'all out' hi-tech from the start might paint you into a corner, technically speaking. One can do an awful lot with the simpler stuff.

  4. I'm a huge Peter Gabriel fan and if there is one track that is my 'favourite song of all time', this would be it. When I was asked to play bass and be part of a collaboration to create a lockdown version of this track, I didn't need to be asked twice. I'm immensely proud of this and it was an honour to work with so many talented folk (please check the description and the end credits). For a short time, I get to be Tony Levin (one of my bass heroes), complete with hammy, deep bass, vocal part.

  5. The only experience I have of any of that list is Focusrite; I have a Solo. I recently did a collaborative effort where I played bass and I used my Sadowsky preamp pedal into Tech21 bass amp sim DIed into the Focusrite. The results were very, very pleasing.

  7. Hi everyone, I've just filmed a cover of one of my favourite ballads, 'Always with me, Always with You' by the legend Joe Satriani. I recently came across some Kemper Tones which I thought where pretty good and had that sheen. we all try to get when dialling in a tone for this track. Let me know what you think! I've added more gain than usual just to make it pop a bit more , thanks everyone https://youtu.be/a0s1bhRkfSc

  8. Good work keeping the timing spot on, that’s not easy - one slip and it all goes boobs skywards.
